Program Description

Good Samaritan Services at Santa Barbara County Probation’s Report and Resource Center (PRRC) provides the AOD treatment component for Probation. The program offers several evidence-based interventions to assist Probation’s clients to successfully deal with addiction issues and move forward on a more positive life path. Our agency provides assessments/intakes, group counseling focused on addiction, as well as trauma issues, peer support groups, AOD testing, discharge planning, and referral services.

Good Samaritan works in conjunction with Probation as well as other community-based organizations at the PRRC for the common purpose of helping people better themselves and to build a safer community.

Program Qualifications

Men and women referred by Probation for Substance Use Disorder.
